In order to be able to realize very complicated and equipment-intensive shootings, as an animal or landscape photographer you need tripods that can hold the sometimes very heavy camera-lens-filter combinations at rather unusual working heights, even in the most unfavorable weather conditions. The Rollei Lion Rock outdoor tripod family, which was developed precisely for this purpose, was extremely well received by the very demanding professional photographers, and the extensive feedback was directly implemented in the next generation. The Rollei Lion Rock 25 Mark II tripod actually combines contrary properties without having to make compromises. With a weight of just under 2 kg, the outdoor tripod carries up to 25 kg of photo equipment at a maximum working height of 178 cm.

Pro-Carbon Vs. Sand, Salt, Dust, Mud and Moisture

The tripod legs, which can be securely fixed in three positions and absolutely free of play, are made of 100 percent carbon, which has been elaborately wound in 11 layers exactly opposite to the main load direction. The carbon fiber reinforced plastic withstands even the toughest environmental conditions such as aggressive salt water, microscopically fine desert sand or viscous mud. The infinitely adjustable quick-release fasteners can be operated without any problems even in the greatest heat or freezing cold, thick tripod legs reinforced with high-quality and soft foam make carrying the camera on the shoulder easier. In addition, the foam makes it comfortable to carry the tripod even in the cold and without gloves.

Simple alignment thanks to sophisticated and practice-oriented details

Attach your camera or an optionally available tripod head to the 1/4 or 3/8 inch connection of the mounting plate. In addition, the scope of delivery also includes a plug-on spirit level, the lower tripod leg segments have been provided with a sensibly divided scale. Thanks to these tools, you can align your Rollei Lion Rock 25 Mark II tripod cleanly on the horizon in no time at all, even in unfavorable lighting conditions. Place the practical clip-on scales and other accessories in the tripod storage bag supplied - and have them to hand at all times. The completely newly developed combination tripod feet have already been patented. The steel spikes integrated in robust rubber feet have a ground angle of exactly 90 degrees and are rock-solid even on surfaces that are considered completely unsuitable. You will also find three replacement rubber feet in the robust tripod bag, an Allen key and the detailed operating instructions complete the new Rollei Lion Rock 25 Mark II tripod.
