The Mark II generation of the Rollei Lion Rock outdoor tripods, which is particularly popular with photo professionals and demanding amateur photographers, offers the usual premium quality and sensible improvements. This proven high-end product line has now been supplemented with three models that have been specially developed to meet the requirements of professional travel photographers. The three new Rollei Lion Rock Travelers have the material and processing quality and the detailed optimizations of the Mark II line, which is beyond any doubt, but convince frequent photographers in particular with their surprisingly low weight. You will be happy about every gram saved in development and production on your next long-distance flight check-in, but also on the strenuous walk to the remote outdoor location.

The Traveler M carries ten times its own weight

With a weight of just 1500 g including a professional ball head and Arca-Swiss quick-release plate, the new Rollei Lion Rock Traveler M travel tripod keeps a full 15 kg of useful weight unwaveringly focused on the desired motif - and easily withstands the most unfavorable weather and environmental conditions. The 4 leg segments and the center column can be extended to a maximum of 154 cm, the preferred working height is still 127.5 cm (retracted center column for more stability). The 26.5 cm long and 25 mm wide center column can be divided in order to be able to carry the full professional load even with macro shots close to the ground. The tripod legs consist of 11 layers of perfectly woven carbon layers of the best quality, which compensate for all vertically occurring forces with an amazingly low material weight. Carbon withstands aggressive salt water, the finest desert sand, extreme heat and cold even in tough continuous use, the leg segments also have double inner seals to permanently prevent the penetration of sand or salt particles.

Steel-hard special spikes that dig into the ground at an ideal 90° angle

The lower segments of the tripod legs have been provided with a practice-oriented scale that allows you to easily adjust your new Rollei Lion Rock Traveler M travel tripod. Specially shaped steel spikes ensure that the extended legs hit the ground at an ideal 90° angle, even in the lowest tripod position, so that you can stand absolutely immovably on freezing cold glacier ice. Thanks to the all-round improved quick screw fasteners, the segments can be fixed and loosened in almost no time at all. You can use the spirit level on the stable tripod shoulder for the exact alignment of your camera, with the friction ball head you can securely fix camera or video equipment weighing up to 15 kg or rotate it gently around its own axis.
