Alpha XL Mark II - the new queen of rock solid tripods

The Mark II version of the largest, most stable and most stable member of the new Rock Solid Mark II tripod family has an increased load capacity of 5 kg - you can now use the travel and outdoor tripod, which is fully extended to a working height of 190 cm, with an unbelievable 65 kg payload equip! This carrying capacity is sufficient even for high-end camcorders with extensive accessories or full-frame cameras with extremely long professional focal lengths.

Carbon, spikes and improved leg closures

The four segments of the unbelievably stable and weather-resistant tripod legs were elaborately wound from carbon at the precisely calculated ideal angle in order to dissipate the loads that occur during the shoot. Despite the increased carrying capacity, the total weight is still well below 3.5 kg. The screwable steel spikes are ideal for carrying your valuable photo equipment securely and immovably, even on craggy rocky surfaces or mirror-smooth ice. The quick-release fasteners of the tripod leg segments have been completely revised and can now be loosened and fixed even faster.

Easy to carry, easy to use

Like the previous model, the Rollei Rock Solid Alpha XL Mark II outdoor tripod is supplied without a tripod head in order to guarantee you full flexibility when equipping it. But the Alpha XL Mark II also features the built-in leveling unit, which allows you to quickly and easily balance your camera. The stable tripod shoulder has a 3/8" and a 1/4" thread and is equipped with an easily readable spirit level (vial). With the new top model of the Rock Solid tripod family, you can confidently meet any possible or impossible location condition and safely realize your shooting ideas.
