iSHOXS ProMount 20 - 40mm - Black

The ProMount was the first CNC-machined GoPro mount that iSHOXS built in 2011 for filming the KTM racing team at the Dakar Rally.

The requirement was: To build a professional mounting system for the robust GoPro® action cams , which were not so well known at the time - the order was fulfilled.

We built a flexible aluminum construction from the high-strength aluminum alloy 6061 T6 , packed a kidney-shaped hinge between the two main struts and chose an eccentric lock for the closure. For grip and protection of the mostly chrome-plated or painted surfaces of the bikes, we designed interchangeable inlets that clip into the main stays.

We were successful, the recordings were free of the typical "shakes" and the GoPros stayed where they were mounted. With the clamping range of 20 - 40 mm tube diameter, the ProMount enabled unusual perspectives and could be quickly adjusted by the racers to the respective situation.

The ProMount is also the right tool for you to make good videos. The clamping range of 20 to 40 mm is ideal for all motorcycles, bicycles, quads and karts .

Due to the construction and the ball joint mechanism , settings and camera positions can be quickly adapted to the situation. All components are CNC machined precision parts . The quality, feel and workmanship of the ProMount inspire everyone who has had the ProMount in their hands.

The jury of the Red Dot Product Design Award thought so too, and rewarded our work by winning a Red Dot Winner Award.

The ProMount has the proven and flexible 3D/360° ball mount and guarantees unlimited setting options for GoPro and compatible action cams. The 3D/360° ball slot can also be used to attach other iSHOXS system modules, such as the Neo-Xtensions or the Small Grap ball extensions.
