Ball head T8S Panorama

The most versatile member of Rollei's new generation of professional ball heads is undoubtedly the T8S Pano. Carefully milled from quality aluminum, the individual parts of the panorama head work together with absolutely no play and allow a maximum payload of an impressive 35 kg. This carrying capacity is even sufficient for full-frame cameras that have been equipped with premium-class super-telephoto lenses. The fixation of the ball element keeps the maximum load absolutely safely aimed at the desired motif, even in the 90° cut-out - your quality guarantee for razor-sharp long-term exposures and filter shots. The included Arca-Swiss quick-release plate has a length of 60 mm and offers sufficient contact surface for particularly heavy professional housings and other high-end accessories.

The highlight: the second panorama axis for difficult terrain

For perfect panorama shots from the tripod, the ball head must be aligned to the horizon with the spirit level - on uneven floors or rocky surfaces, leveling the tripod leg length is often quite time-consuming and tedious. This adjustment work is enormous with the new Rollei T8S Pano relieved. If the ground conditions are uncomplicated, use the clearly visible scale at the base of the tripod head, adjust the damping using the separate rotary knob, which can also be operated easily with gloves, and finally fix the ball. If the tripod is tilted, you don't have to laboriously align the individual legs, you can use the second panorama axis above the ball head. Directly below the Arca-Swiss fixation is another scale and a locking screw. Use your own spirit level (dragonfly) to align your camera exactly and start taking the panorama picture straight away.
