Rollei Premium circular polarizing filters 49mm impress with colour-neutral and multi-coated Gorilla® glass . Almost all of the images we see are now being digitally optimized or post-processed. Most analogue color and effect filters for DSLR cameras can now be simulated by digital image processing – except for the reduction of reflections through polarization of the light, as circular polarizing filters do, which are also known as CPL filters (circular polarizing filters) . Their specialty lies in the smooth removal - or addition - of reflections and reflections on smooth, transparent and non-metallic surfaces such as water or glass. In addition, high-quality circular polarization filters (CPL filters) ensure more intense colors in the blue and green spectrum as well as higher contrast and better differentiation. Premium CPL filter for 49mm lenses made of indestructible Gorilla® glass

Like the current professional rectangular filters, the latest generation of Rollei Premium round filters are made of the legendary, durable Gorilla®* glass from the traditional American manufacturer Corning Inc. mechanical pressure or the impact of pointed or sharp objects. If the surface is damaged, the coating prevents the edges from chipping. In addition, the Rollei Premium round filter CPL was provided with the special Luminance Coating, which significantly determines the excellent optical properties, prevents reflections and reflections and ensures absolute color neutrality - indispensable for being able to permanently store the original image information and characteristics. The final anti-scratch layer gives the filter glass its final hardness against mechanical influences and ensures that even the worst dirt from oil, water or mud can be removed quickly and easily .

By the way: You can optimally combine polarizing filters with other camera filters such as gray filters and gray gradient filters .
